The following Search options are available for trying to obtain information about
one of our spreadsheet servers or other Excel-based automation products:
Select a Global Software Product – Select the
appropriate Global Software product from the list. e.g., "Spreadsheet Server - All Versions."
Search for – Type the words you would expect to find in the pages that
contain your answer. Do not use noise words such as how, why, the, in, on.
Use words that describe the problem or exact error message, e.g., "error 404, Server
not found." Select the options
you want and then click the green arrow to begin your search.
Using – Specify how the search program should search for the words in
the Search for box. Select any of the following options:
- Any of the words entered (default) – Shows pages that contain any of the words typed, in
any order. For example, if you type sound volume in the Search for
box and select this option, the search results will be pages that contain
either sound or volume.
- All of the words entered – Shows pages that contain all of the words
in the Search for box. For example, if you type sound volume in
the Search for
box and select this option, the search results will be pages that contain both
sound and volume.

Use more than one word and check for correct spelling.

In the Issue Id box, type the Issue Id number (for
example, type 23)
then click the green arrow to begin your search.
